Dr. Mary Wiechart
Dr. Mary was born in North Carolina but moved to Lima, Ohio by the age of four. The middle of three girls, she attended St. Charles Catholic School and then Lima Central Catholic High School. After high school, Mary attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, where she majored in Natural Sciences with a minor in Theology. Then, Dr. Mary was accepted into The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Here she enjoyed tutoring other students in restorative and helped with many fundraising efforts. Upon graduating, Mary moved home to Lima to start practicing. Shortly after, she married Adam Rector, owner of the local BIGGBY COFFEE stores. Together they reside in the Shawnee area with two children and another one joining in April! Their family is completed by two dogs, Beau and Bailey, and a cat named Bernie. The dream of Wiechart Dental Smile Studio has always been an aspiration of Mary’s and she is excited to see it come to completion!
Janessa Minch
As a Front Office Administrator, Janessa enjoys communicating and developing relationships with patients. She makes it a point to welcome each patient with a smile and a bubbly demeanor.
Janessa appreciates answering patients’ billing questions and letting them know she cares about more than just financials but about their entire health journey. She gets enthusiastic about helping patients find ways to afford the care they need and deserve. She is thrilled to be part of Dr. Mary’s team where our vision to help educate patients goes beyond the insurance dictation and now into the hands of the patient.
Janessa has been married to Cody for 12 years and has two children: Aliyah and Madilyn. Janessa has lived in Spencerville for 4 years. She enjoys hiking, reading, and working on projects around the house with her family.
Shannon Polser
Shannon joins the Wiechart Dental Smile Studio team as a Registered Dental Hygienist with more than 15 years of dental experience. Shannon looks forward to seeing patients at their scheduled reservations because it gives her the opportunity to build lasting relationships. She is passionate about educating patients on oral health. In addition to education, Shannon hopes to provide a professional, relatable, and comfortable atmosphere. Shannon graduated from Rhodes State College in 2000 and is committed to continuing her education to provide the very best for her patients.
She has been happily married to her husband Jarrod for 28 years and together they have three children, Logan, Cambree, and Raegan. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, swimming, and creating memories with family and friends. When not in the hygienist’s chair you can find her in the bleachers cheering on her girls while they play volleyball and basketball.
Blaise Kline
Dental Assistant
Blaise joins Wiechart Dental Smile Studio team as a Dental Assistant, she attended Maumee Valley Dental Assisting School after graduating from McComb High School. Blaise looks forward to helping patients feel better about their smile and keeping patients comfortable at our office. Blaise loves working in the dental field and aspires to become a Dental Hygienist. Her favorite part about being a Dental Assistant is knowing that she can make a difference within each patient.
In her spare time, Blaise enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, Drew, and spending time with their cat Lily. When she is not in the office setting you can find her spending quality time with the most important people around her and trying to make the world a good place for everyone.
